Spain's national museum of 20th- and 21st-century art, housed in the converted 18th-century Sabatini hospital with a Jean Nouvel extension across the courtyard. The headline work is Picasso's Guernica (Sala 205.10) — moved here from the Prado in 1992 — alongside Dalí's Surrealist self-portraits, Miró, Juan Gris, Tàpies and a deep contemporary-art programme. Closed Tuesdays; free admission for the last two hours each day.
