Overview
The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Abuja manages bilateral relations with Nigeria — Africa's largest economy and most populous country. China is one of Nigeria's largest trading partners. Chinese companies are heavily invested in Nigerian infrastructure, telecommunications (Huawei, ZTE), construction, manufacturing and oil and gas. The embassy coordinates a consulate general in Lagos. The Chinese community in Nigeria is one of the largest in West Africa.

Trade & Export Support
China-Nigeria bilateral trade covers electronics, machinery, textiles, consumer goods, construction materials and telecommunications equipment. Chinese companies are major players in Nigerian infrastructure — roads, railways, ports and power generation. Nigerian oil exports to China are significant.
